The 25th annual National Marfan Foundation conference continues this weekend in Rochester. It has drawn 500 participants from across the country the first time it has been held at Mayo Clinic. Marfan syndrome is a connective-tissue disorder "that can affect the skeleton, eyes, heart and blood vessels," according to www.marfan.org.
