Doctor loves patients’ honesty

By Kelley Luckstein

Dr. Jeanette Meyer said she was the first person at the Mayo Clinic to enter its geriatric fellowshipgeriatric-doctor-093 more than 20 years ago.

Since then she has treated older adults experiencing various levels of deterioration, focusing on dementia.

Now at age 64 she is medical director for CentraCare, a program of all-inclusive care for the elderly that began in April at the Burnham Brook Community Center.
