Ask Dr. Howard Burchell a question, and he'd give you an answer. Then he'd come up with four or five questions of his own to spark further discussion and his insatiable appetite for knowledge…
Burchell was widely recognized as one of the foremost authorities in the field of cardiology during the 1950s and 1960s, said Dr. Bruce Fye, a cardiologist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., who interviewed Burchell three times for his upcoming book "Mayo Clinic and Cardiology: Specialization in the 20th Century."
