During the boom years, job prospects couldn't be better for health-care workers. Hospitals were desperate to fill nursing shortages…
"We have more people applying for all of our positions," said Yvette Martin, a recruitment strategist in the human-resources department at Mayo Clinic of Arizona.
"We are seeing three times as many candidates for a lot of our entry-level positions."…Nursing jobs have been in high demand in past years, but now hospitals are more likely to seek out experienced nurses…"We absolutely need the right mix of nurses," Martin said
