Not long ago, medical providers at Mayo Clinic's Saint Marys Hospital practiced how to handle multiple casualties quickly. The scenario played out in real life on Wednesday. "We carry blood on the aircraft. We do certain procedures on the aircraft that we don't do on the ground," said Mayo Medical Transport spokesman Glenn Lyden. "That's a higher level of care that patient has access to."
