What shape Mayo Clinic will take in Rochester in the next 25 years is on the table as clinic officials draft the most sweeping master plan update since the 1980s.
"We're looking out at a time frame of 2020 and 2035 and trying to say, 'OK, what will Mayo Clinic Rochester be at those points in time?'" said Don DeCramer, Mayo's division chairman for architectural and engineering design services.
Mayo's master plan update is just one in a series of high-stakes planning initiatives happening behind the scenes in Rochester.
