Elderly at risk on ice

Who is most at risk when our roads or sidewalks turn to ice?  According to new research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association more than one-third of community living adults older than 65 fall each year. 

 

Approximately ten percent of falls result in a major injury such as fractures, serious soft tissue injury or even a traumatic brain injury…
