Mayo Clinic was ranked 55 on Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list, which will appear in the Feb. 8 issue. It is the seventh consecutive year the health system has appeared in the magazine rankings.

“The most important considerations for this year’s list were hiring and the ways in which companies are helping their employees weather the recession,” said Hank Gilman, deputy managing editor of Fortune.
