Feeling sick? Mayo’s offering you an app for that

By Kelley Luckstein

Worrywart parents and borderline hypochondriacs, rejoice! Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic has released a free iPhone app called Symptom Checker that provides a categorized database of aches and pains, coughs and wheezes, tingles and palpitations…

Another app, Mayo Clinic Meditation, launched in January with on-screen advice on "a form of alternative medicine that focuses on the mind-body connection," according to the clinic. The app, normally $5, is on sale for $3.
