A West Valley doctors practice has drawn the ire of Mayo Clinic after erecting a Sun City billboard that poked fun at Mayo's decision to no longer accept Medicare for primary care at its Glendale clinic.
The billboard's message: "Seniors, Mayo may not take your Medicare any longer, but we still do ... and always will."…
A Mayo Clinic spokesperson said five Mayo physicians opted out of the federal government's insurance program for seniors. The move, effective Jan. 1, impacted about 3,000 patients who received primary-care at the clinic.
