When I was in my 20s and 30s, it was relatively easy to lose the unwanted pounds I'd acquired over winter. In spring, I'd replace a lot of the meat and potatoes in my diet with salads and fruit. I'd also double my weekly running mileage, stick to a pretty strict daily regimen of push-ups and sit-ups, and within a month or two — Voile! I'd be back to where I was the summer before…
That's where my latest technological weight-loss contraption comes in. Called the Gruve, it was developed by a start-up called Muve Inc. in cooperation with Dr. James Levine, the Mayo Clinic endocrinologist I've written about before.
