Mayo, Twins team up with healthy purpose

A Medical Edge column, company logo or Mayo Clinic diet book might seem far removed from an orchestrated marketing plan…

 

So as fans poured into Target Field in Minneapolis on Friday afternoon for the Minnesota Twins' first game in its new outdoor ballpark, they witnessed the newest piece of the Mayo marketing plan…

 

Mayo also plans to advertise in Twins Magazine, with a Twins Radio Network presence, add health-awareness ads before and after games and host pre-game interviews with doctors, said Karl Oestreich of Mayo Clinic.
