Hasting teen’s parents comment on gun-in-school arrest

The Hastings teenager accused of waving a loaded gun at his classmates has a rare disorder according to the couple who adopted him and then gave up their parental rights. Lori and Tom appeared on Good Morning America…

 

They said he was diagnosed with fetal alcohol exposure and reactive attachment disorder. The Mayo Clinic said, on its Web site, "reactive attachment disorder is a rare but serious condition in which infants and young children don't establish healthy bonds with parents or caregivers."
