Spring is early, for better and for worse

All that coughing, sneezing, sniffling, bone-crunching and bug-slapping you've heard lately are the sounds of a remarkably early spring in Minnesota…but the early onset of spring also means that pollen is flying and allergy sufferers are wheezing earlier than usual…

 

For those looking for relief, James Li, chairman of the Mayo Clinic's Allergy Department, suggested staying inside well-ventilated buildings and taking over-the-counter antihistamines that don't cause drowsiness.
