Mayo Clinic Heritage Days

Posted on October 4th, 2011 by

Monday, residents of Rochester and Mayo employees got a look back at how far the Mayo Clinic has come.  As part of the celebration, there were two vintage cars on hand, but these cars were there for more than just show. Mayo's first building ever constructed was in the year 1914. "The red car is a 1914 model T speedster that was built the same year the first mayo clinic building was constructed on the site of our Siebens building, " said Matthew Dacy, co-chair of Mayo Clinic Heritage.
