Plummer played a large part in developing the Mayo Clinic

After graduating from Spring Valley High School in 1892, Henry Plummer left the area to attend pre-med study at the University of Minnesota and then to Northwestern University in Chicago to attain his medical degree. He returned to his family home in Hamilton, north of Spring Valley, to work with his father, who was a doctor in Racine… Plummer was named last week to the Kingsland School Wall of Honor, which recognizes accomplishments of graduates.
