Where do warts come from? (No, it’s not frogs)

By

No one wants a wart -- they're a nuisance and unsightly. We all know that you can't get warts from a toad. So where do they come from? "Warts are caused by a virus called human papillomavirus, or hpv," said Mayo Clinic dermatologist Dr. Dawn Davis. Like many other viruses, most forms of HPV are picked up by casual contact or indirectly through objects that are shared.
