Chances are fairly good that in the past few weeks, you've heard someone say "I never get a flu shot, and I never get the flu." …The benefits? Well, Dr. Greg Poland, director of the Mayo Clinic’s Vaccine Research Group, told the Post-Bulletin that the U of M report, which encapsulated data from just 31 studies, isn't providing a totally accurate picture. "I think they slanted it a bit, and it's downplaying the full benefit of the vaccine," he said.
