The Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees welcomed a new member and re-elected another at its quarterly meeting on Friday. Dr. Randolph Steer, an independent biotechnology consultant, was elected to a four-year term, and journalist Tom Brokaw, anchor of “NBC Nightly News” from 1982 to 2004, was re-elected to a four-year term as a public trustee.
