Good Samaritan turned victim reunites with heroes

By

Wednesday night a man who lent a helping hand while on the road, then needed help himself, reunited with his rescuers. He's ready to leave the hospital, but not without first thanking the people who saved his life….The 61-year-old says he was headed from Winnipeg, Canada to Indiana when he came across Sara and her cousin stranded near Menomonie. He helped change their tire and took off but went into cardiac arrest just down the road…"The A.E.D. is what restores the rhythm and that's what saves peoples lives but the CPR increases the chance of someone surviving something like this so it was actually both," says Dr. Regis Fernades with the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
