The federal government has awarded a $7.7 million grant to an Arizona-based group of Alzheimer's disease researchers. The National Institute on Aging's five-year grant will allow Arizona researchers to share data and resources for projects studying Alzheimer's disease and other age-related disorders…Those research groups include Arizona State University, Banner Alzheimer's Institute, Banner Sun Health Research Institute, Barrow Neurological Institute, Mayo Clinic in Arizona, Translational Genomics Research Institute and the University of Arizona.
