Sumner County’s ‘Team Tanner’ has reason to celebrate

Tanner Creed, fifteen year-old South Haven sophomore, is seeing improvement in his battle with Wilms tumor…Treatment for Tanner has included trips to Kansas City for surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.  Currently, he is scheduled for a scan every three months…According to the Mayo Clinic,  Wilms' tumor is a rare kidney cancer that primarily affects children. Also known as nephroblastoma, Wilms' tumor is the most common cancer of the kidneys in children.
