DASH Diet nabs top ranking from U.S. News & World Report; TLC, Mayo Clinic and Weight Watchers also score high

 Once again, U.S. News & World Report has ranked the DASH diet tops for health and weight loss. For the second year in a row, the magazine praised the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) as an all-purpose health and its ‘Best Diet Overall” for lowering cholesterol, battling hupertension, and for weight loss…Tied with Weight Watchers for third place: The Mayo Clinic Diet for its ability to take on diabetes and the Mediterranean Diet for its emphasis on fruits and vegetables, olive oil, fish, and other nutritious (and delicious) food choices.
