Even beyond his legacy as helping found Mayo Medical School, Dr. Burton Sandok is remembered for his gift for distilling complex neurological topics into a framework that medical students could readily understand. "He had such an enthusiasm that a student or resident could not help but be swept away by his love of neurology and his really incredible fund of knowledge in the field," said Dr. Robert Brown, chair of neurology at Mayo Clinic.
