With all of the construction and employee growth at Mayo Clinic's downtown and Saint Marys campuses in recent years, it was probably only a matter of time before they merged.
Now, in fact, they will — on paper, at least — in the clinic's newest 5-year plan. The plan, which outlines Mayo's growth potential through 2016, was released last week, and goes to the Rochester City Council for a vote next month…Still, many more projects are listed than are completed in the five-year term of any given plan, said Don DeCramer, division chairman of facilities project services, to the city Planning and Zoning Commission last week.
