The Bell 206B helicopter that crashed into the Clay County woods killing all three aboard on a Dec. 26 medical mission dropped about 150 feet along a mile-long track through the dark before hitting the trees, according to a preliminary report by investigators…The evidence is more consistent with forward travel than the helicopter simply falling, said Bob Gretz, the senior transportation board investigator handling the crash.
