A local doctor is using a unique strategy to keep his heart healthy. Four years ago, Dr. Dave Eitrheim, who works at Mayo Clinic Health System, had a CT scan taken of his chest. He had the tests done after his younger brother had a heart attack. The results from the scan found Dr. Eitrheim had plaque build-up in his heart. From there on out, he figured out a way to keep moving and stay healthy, even at work. "I first decided to get this treadmill when my brother at age 45 had a heart attack," Dr. Eitrheim remembers.
