The Minnesota Partnership has begun studying the health benefits of standing — instead of sitting — while at work. Evidence is growing that you're more likely to die sooner than others who stand if you sit at a desk for hours at a time on a daily basis…Desks used during the partnership research are called WorkFit and are made by Ergotron. Partnership researchers include Dr. James Levine of Mayo Clinic and Mark Pereira of the University of Minnesota.
