Anaesthetic use linked to ADHD

Drugs used to sedate children for surgery could have subtle effects on the developing brain, believe doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota…Dr David Warner, a paediatric anaesthetist, and colleagues looked at medical and educational records of children born between 1976 and 1982 in the state's Olmsted County, and found 341 ADHD cases.
