Via Christi Health said another Mayo executive will be joining the Wichita-based Catholic health system. Abdul Bengali has been named senior vice president and chief information officer for Via Christi. He comes to the system after more than 34 years at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., where he was CIO since 2001. In that position Bengali oversaw 1,200 IT staff and 400 contracted staff.
