Teens who smoke hookah don’t understand major health risks

Teens hear all the time from parents, teachers, peers and mentors that tobacco and cigarettes are harmful to their health, but very rarely are young people warned about the harmful effects of hookah… According to Richard D. Hurt, M.D. of the Mayo Clinic research facility (www.mayoclinic.org), hookah contains the same toxins that cigarettes do, and even though it is being drawn through water it can sometimes be even more harmful to users.
