Flashy props draw attention to marathon’s cause

… “Our hair is always pink to celebrate for the cause,” Bob Liner said Sunday at the fifth annual event that begins and ends at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. Founded by First Coast News anchor Donna Deegan and Mayo oncologist and cancer researcher Edith Perez, the race raises money for breast cancer research and to financially support Jacksonville-area women living with the disease.
