If you haven’t followed through with your New Year’s resolution to get back to the gym, here’s some more motivation: Exercise helps your memory stay sharp…Mayo Clinic researchers based in Rochester, Minn., and Jacksonville, Fla., concluded that aerobic exercise — defined as any physical activity that raises heart rate and increases the body’s need for oxygen — is an important therapy against dementia.
