A Brain Injury

By

Currently there is not one single definition of a concussion, minor head injury, or mild traumatic brain injury that is universally accepted. However most experts agree and use this statement as a starting point.“ A complex pathophysiological process affecting the brain, induced by traumatic biomechanical forces.” The Mayo Clinic defines a concussion “is a traumatic brain injury that alters the way your brain functions. Effects are usually temporary, but can include problems with headache, concentration, memory, judgment, balance and coordination.
