The popular New York Knicks point guard will have surgery this week on a small, chronic tear in his left knee and miss the rest of the season, the team announced Saturday…"If the MRI shows a meniscus tear, but the patient isn't experiencing catching or locking [and] their X-rays show early arthritis, I don't think they'd be a surgical candidate," says Michael Stuart, professor of orthopedics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
