Teen suicide is a difficult subject for many, but in recent month it's been a reality at several schools in our area. Experts say the reason is complicated…Dr. J. Michael Bostwick, a Mayo Clinic Psychiatrist and expert on suicide prevention, says the key is to not treat suicide, but the things that cause it. "I don't actually believe we can prevent suicide per se, but we certainly can treat depression and anxiety. We certainly can respond to bullying and make it something that's not acceptable," Bostwick explains.
