So we've got an organization asking for public money to supplement their own contribution to new infrastructure and making quasi-veiled threats that if they don't get it, well, they may just have to look at relocating. And the Vikings got what they wanted, right? But unlike the new stadium for Minnesota's favorite football team, the Destination Medical Center initiative seems like it can be a big-time winner for a giant swath of the state – not just football fans, downtown Minneapolis bar owners and whoever braids all those Helga Hats.
