Sisters of St. Marys Cookbooks
The Sisters of St. Marys are selling cookbooks to raise money for other people's medical bills. Sister Laura Weinandt and Generose were signing copies of those books.
A hospital employee asked if she could put together a cook book and give the proceeds to people who can't afford their medical bills. One of the patients wrote back and said “I didn't know that there were people in the world today that would help us like this,” he said, “and they didn't know us from Adam.”
So I think it is a very worthwhile cause.
Those cook books cost $20 each and for more information on where you can get one you can call the Saint Marys gift shop at 507-255-5951. It would make for a great gift for anyone this Christmas.
