The first day of spring is less than a month away -- and winter just decided to show up! It's been a wildly warm winter across the U.S. For many states, the 2011/2012 season will be one of the top 10 warmest on record, if not the warmest. As of February 21, this will be Chicago's tenth warmest winter, Detroit's sixth, Milwaukee's sixth, and Washington D.C.'s fifth, according to Weather.com…We are in the midst of an inactivity epidemic in our country," says Ed Laskowski, M.D., co-director of the Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center and a physical medicine and rehabilitation expert. "When you say 'exercise' people don't like that -- that implies dressing in spandex and sweating bullets."
