Wrongful Death Trial in Olmsted County Involves Mayo Clinic Patient Who Took His Life

A wrongful death trial in Olmsted County focuses on whether Mayo Clinic staff failed to adequately protect a psychiatric patient who committed suicide. Thirty-nine-year-old Kevin Harms died after jumping off a parking ramp roof in May 2009. Harms left a group of psychiatric patients who were on a supervised walk on Mayo Clinic property.
