Scientists push for animal research
Biomedical researchers are waging an aggressive, national campaign to promote the use of animals as medical and drug test subjects, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported… “Things like heart valves and statins wouldn’t be here without animal research,” Mayo Clinic research dean Michael Joyner told the Star Tribune.
