Amid news that the Obama administration might be willing to drop a public option to reach a deal on health care reform, Sen. Al Franken reiterated his support on Monday for the public plan after a tour of Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
While in Rochester, Franken spent a few hours touring the clinic with Mayo Clinic Rochester CEO Dr. Glenn Forbes. He was also scheduled to meet with Olmsted County Public Health staff to talk about an effort to eliminate health disparities.
