Cover your cough, get vaccinated, stay home when you’re sick.

Local health officials say there’s twice the reason to heed the advice this year, with the H1N1 flu expected to spread at the same time the seasonal flu does.

“It’s important that everyone helps to prevent the flu,” said Dr. Joachim Schugel, lead Emergency Department physician at Immanuel St. Joseph’s — Mayo Health System.
