Expansion Sneak Peak

By Kelley Luckstein

The Gift of Life Transplant House in Rochester will soon become the largest hospitality transplant house in the country. It already has 51 guest rooms, but is set to open another multi-million dollar facility next month…

A blessing that follows in the footsteps of another nun, Mother Alfred Moes, who helped to create St. Mary's Hospital and begin the evolution of what, is now, Mayo Clinic. "I think Mother Alfred wanted the Sisters to be with the people... right downtown.  And I think the Gift of Life is right in the middle of all that. And this is a wonderful legacy that Mother Alfred has given to us that we continue to be present and provide hospitality for the people" says Sister Jean Frances.
