H1N1 Vaccination Clinics

By Kelley Luckstein

Viewers have been contacting us, upset, that Mayo Clinic is restricting H1N1 flu vaccinations to people who get their primary care at Mayo. One viewer said she tried for hours to get an appointment for her child only to be told she had to be a primary care patient. Mayo Clinic says there's simply not enough vaccine for the general public. A Mayo spokesperson says " the Minnesota Department of Health has allocated the vaccine to medical institutions to vaccinate the institution's patients and that's what the clinic is doing."
