CNN camerawoman’s fearless struggle

By Kelley Luckstein

Margaret Moth, a CNN camerawoman was in Sarajevo in 1992 when she was struck in the face by a sniper's bullet. Dr. Paul Petty, Mayo Clinic plastic surgeon, was her surgeon. She spent much time in Rochester and then was able to resume work. A couple of years ago she was diagnosed with cancer and is receiving treatment at Mayo now. CNN International did this tribute story about her, which aired in September 2009.
