Don’t stress the holidays

It's the holidays. There are a lot of extra things to do -- shopping, spending, visiting -- and a short time to get it done with lots of real or perceived expectations. It may be the most wonderful time of the year, but it can easily become the most stressful one, too…

 

Part of the stress around the holiday centers around money, said Kelly Case-Simonson, a licensed psychologist with counseling psychiatric services at the University of Georgia…

 

Overspending is a great cause of stress, said Dr. Chad Masters, a family physician with the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. "It puts a lot people in binds," he said.
