When it comes to sleeping, the only thing that may be harder than getting your kids out of bed in the morning is getting them into bed at night. "I think it helps to have that gap of adjusting to sleep so a child's not going from physical aggressive activity or from a scary movie straight to bedtime," says Dr. Philip Fischer, a pediatrician at the Mayo Clinic.
