IBM, Mayo Clinic Announce New Method To Detect Brain Aneurysms

Dow Jones Newswire, International Business Machines Corp. (IBM: 125.45, 0, 0%) and Mayo Clinic announced a new method to detect deadly brain aneurysms using analytics technology, which they say can provide detection with greater speed and accuracy. It is the latest partnership between Big Blue and the Minnesota-based Mayo Clinic, which has often been cited by the Obama administration as a model for high-quality, cost-effective health care.
