Mayo Clinic campaign raises $1.35B

By Kelley Luckstein

The Mayo Clinic on Tuesday said it raised $1.35 billion during its five-year fundraising campaign, surpassing the goal of $1.25 billion it set for itself when the campaign started in 2005.

“We exceeded our goal despite the unanticipated economic crisis that hit this country when we still had a year and a half to go,” Dr. John Noseworthy, the Rochester, Minn.-based health provider’s president and CEO, said in a news release.
